The horror film “Us” directed by Jordan Peele started as a story of a family vacation. The mother, Adelaide, is confronted by her doppelganger which triggers a “revolution.”
Though there were several missed opportunities to make the movie scarier, it was very suspenseful. I enjoyed the cinematography throughout the film because it was pleasing to watch and had many great moments adding to the psychological extremity of the film. In “Us,” the main characters were smart, moved quickly and did not linger like in other horror films. This creative movie was amazing with wonderful twists and turns throughout the entire film.
