TV Show Review: Sabrina

“The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” is a remake of the classic, “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” but with a dark twist. I personally loved this remake.

The plot had you on the edge of your seat and all the characters were portrayed beautifully. The original, lovable personalities were still present, but the storyline was more intense and interesting because of the thriller aspect brought in. Since Sabrina is in high school, there are things that I could relate to.

The show also touches on the importance of acceptance, love, loyalty and change. My favorite part about this show is its strong female lead and other female roles that defy the “dumb” or “weak” girl stereotype that has dominated many shows in the past. Anyone who enjoys shows with meaningful themes and a little horror would love this.
