Book review: Adultolescence

“Adultolescence” is a poetry book written by singer and Youtuber Gabbie Hanna. The book encompasses many stories of her life she wanted to share. She addresses self-love and self-image issues, which many teens and young adults can understand.

Hanna’s content is targeted towards teenagers and adults because her online content, her book and her music are all relatable to people. She is open about going to therapy and encourages others to go as well if they need help.

The book has many different types of poems that are truly heartfelt, emotional and thought provoking. Hanna addresses the family issues in her past, her past relationships, friends and where she wants to be in her life all throughout the book. It is extremely enjoyable to read and relatable to many different types of people.
