One of us is lying: Book review

Bronwyn is the smart girl with straight A’s, Addy is the homecoming princess who everyone knows, Cooper is the athletic start, Nate is the cool kid who commits petty crimes and Simon is an outcast who created a site filled with gossip. Simon’s character had dirt on each one of these students who were in detention with him. Simon ended up leaving school lifeless in a body bag. Just when the reader thinks they know who the killer is, everything takes a twist.

I love how the author leaves the reader hanging by a thread so that they have no clue who the real killer is. McManus does an extraordinary job at leaving the reader on edge. It is nearly impossible to know who has truly committed the crime. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of mystery and crime. This story truly is a fantastic read.
