“Fire Emblem Warriors” was a game where I wasn’t expecting much and it still disappointed me. To put it simply, it’s a button masher that has no life in it and so much squandered potential. The story is fairly basic, nothing out of the ordinary really. The game play involves moving your units (playable characters) into certain spaces where enemies are. Once you have made all your battle preparations, you launch into battle.
To the game’s few credits, the graphics are okay, lush environments, attractive characters, but there is nothing to really harp on here. The sound is excellent; the sound track is superb and the voice acting is solid. While this game may be a decent pickup at $30 or so due to the mindless fun, it is certainly not a $60 game. No way.
